3. Stabilization: During this phase we will gradually increase your caloric intake to the point needed to maintain your ideal goal weight based on your activity level and metabolism and help you to keep your weight off for the rest of your life

4. Maintenance: Research has shown that during the first year after reaching your goal weight is the most critical for long term success. During this phase, you will have periodic check ins with your counselor to ensure that you keep your new figure for the rest of your life.
